Parkway Rotary has amazing news!
First, it now can boast having the first District Governor for Rotary District 7930 from it’s ranks! In this 50th year of Parkway Rotary, former Club president Terry Rezendes Curran is elected to the lofty role. District 7930 stretches from the Parkway neighborhoods of West Roxbury, Roslindale, Jamaica Plain, and Hyde Park north to the New Hampshire border and east to the Atlantic and Cape Ann region. Terry is a life long resident and native daughter of the area. She has been a tireless volunteer serving our local and global neighborhoods.
And Parkway Rotary has elected Kelsea Whittemore as it’s new leader. Kelsea’s career has been dedicated to education, literacy, and community development. Her roots in service started when she was selected to attend RYLA, the youth development program sponsored by Rotary. She has since contributed to and lead many projects and programs for students across Massachusetts. She is a teacher in Dedham and will be leading Parkway Rotary as it’s president for the 2021-22 Rotary Year.
Congratulations to both Terry and Kelsea!
